Hidden leaks. Found, fixed.

A leak you can't see is doing more damage than the one you can. We use the right equipment to find leaks fast and fix them with minimal disruption.

Leak detection for Cobb County homes.

A hidden leak can go undetected for months. The water bill creeps up, the floor warps, and a stain appears on the wall. By the time you notice, the damage is done. Landrum Plumbing uses professional leak detection equipment to find the source quickly and accurately, without tearing out half your wall to look for it.

We handle everything from dripping faucets to slab leaks. We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Cobb County.

We find it once and fix it right, with as little disruption as possible.

Signs of a hidden leak.

These are the symptoms we see most often before a leak shows up on the floor:

01
Water bill higher than usual with no change in usage.
02
Damp or discolored spots on walls, ceilings, or floors.
03
Musty or mildew smell with no visible moisture.
04
The sound of running water when nothing is on.
05
Low water pressure throughout the home.
06
Warm or wet spots on a concrete slab floor.

What we do.

.

Non-invasive detection

Pressure testing and acoustic equipment locate the leak before we open anything.

Slab leak detection

Leaks under concrete found and repaired with the smallest possible opening.

Wall & ceiling leaks

Targeted access. We open what we need to and leave the rest alone.

Underground lines

Service line leaks between the meter and your home. Irrigation lines too.

How the work goes.

.
Step01

Initial inspection

We review your water bill history, inspect visible plumbing, and listen for signs of a leak with professional acoustic equipment.

Step02

Pressure testing

We isolate sections of your plumbing system and test pressure to pinpoint where water is escaping.

Step03

Locate and confirm

Once located, we confirm the source and show you exactly where the leak is before we recommend a repair approach.

Step04

Targeted repair

We make the repair with the smallest opening possible. We patch up cleanly and leave the area as we found it.

Common questions.

.
How do I know if I have a slab leak?
Common signs include warm spots on the floor, the sound of running water when nothing is on, cracks in the foundation, and a sudden unexplained increase in your water bill. Call us if you notice any of these.
Will you have to break up my floor or walls?
Not always. We use non-invasive detection first to pinpoint the exact location. When access is needed, we make the smallest opening we can. For some slab leaks, pipe rerouting through walls is an option that avoids concrete work.
Can a small leak wait?
Even a slow leak can cause mold growth, structural damage, and rot in wood framing within weeks. The cost to repair a small leak is always less than the cost to fix the damage it causes.
Do you repair the leak the same day you find it?
In most cases, yes. If the repair is straightforward, we carry the materials to fix it on the same visit. Complex slab leaks or rerouting jobs may need a follow-up appointment.
